Many people with nicer homes or solid wood doors do not want a plate on their door, regardless of what color it can be painted. Our response? Make the piece invisible, or as close as possible and offer it in colors that will make it blend in with your lock hardware. The result is our Low Profile Door Shield. The protection of a standard Door Shield but with a great look.
Available in white, oil-rubbed bronze and satin nickel finishes (brass finish is under development)
Pieces are barely visible when on the door but deliver the same structural protection as our standard door shields
This piece is currently only made with the standard (5.5″ lock spacing) and with a 2-3/8″ backset. Standard unit fits standard lock spacing (5-1/2 inches on center). Be sure to check how far your locks are backset from the edge of the door before ordering.
